Sunny Dooley

For over 45 years, Sunny has shared the Diné Hózhójii Hané teachings in a variety of settings in the North and South Hemispheres, the United Kingdom, the European Union, West Africa and the Navajo Nation. She is a filmmaker, poet, writer, gardener, land steward, teacher, and organizer of positive possibilities for true change to take root.

“The Diné/Navajo word for kindness and relationship is Ke’e. We are related to all life forms, because we are related, we are kind to all life forms. Life surrounds us, relationships surround us, kindness surrounds us. We live in a state of constant reciprocity. That give and take is out of balance on our Earth today. We need to take definitive steps to ensure balance. If you were shown kindness, if you’ve experienced a relationship, share that Ke’e with our Mother Earth. You already have the experience, knowledge and the ability to do so.”
